he Dirty Martinis are a professional four-piece Scottish band with over 14 years of experience together and
more than 100 years of combined experience in music. Featuring male lead vocals, guitar, bass and drums, we bring first-class musicianship, plenty of personality and just the right amount of banter to weddings, corporate events, birthday parties and other special occasions.
The members of The Dirty Martinis have backgrounds across the wider music industry, giving the band many years of professional experience both onstage and behind the scenes.

OUR SOUND

ALL-NIGHT ATMOSPHERE
Music throughout your whole evening—arrivals, buffet, cake-cutting and the bouquet—with thousands of weddings behind us to keep the celebration flowing.
We are one of the few bands to produce our own custom instrumental arrangements for every song. The vocals, guitar, bass and drums are performed live, while our bespoke system adds all the extra instrumentation that couldn’t realistically fit on most stages—from full brass sections and orchestras to keyboards, strings, percussion and synthesizers.

Our repertoire spans everything from 1950s classics, soul and Motown to country, ballads, 1980s favourites, ’90s Britpop, indie rock and modern floor-fillers. We also perform traditional Scottish ceilidh dances and provide the calling, so everyone can join in—even complete beginners.

Your chosen first dance, learned & played
For weddings, we can learn and perform your chosen first dance live. We also finish the night with our signature 15-minute, three-song finale, bringing everyone together around the newlyweds for one unforgettable ending.
We don’t just provide the live sets—we help create the atmosphere throughout your whole evening. Music can be playing as your guests arrive, before the band begins and throughout the buffet break. We can welcome the newlyweds into the room with a song of their choice, provide music and a countdown for cutting the cake, and even add the perfect soundtrack for throwing the bouquet.
Everything can be tailored around what you want. Equally, having performed at thousands of weddings and events, we know what works, how to read the room and when to adjust the music to keep the celebration flowing naturally.
We perform in tuxedos and pride ourselves on creating a relaxed, lively atmosphere that keeps the dance floor moving. Hundreds of videos and testimonials from previous couples show the experiences we’ve helped create. Because we take bookings directly rather than through an agency, you receive a personal service from the band from the first enquiry onwards—with no agency fees added to the price.
